Who We Are & What We Do

Another Chance to Win, Inc. (ACT Win) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Baltimore, Maryland. It was established to support Baltimore students with incarcerated parents by providing food, toiletries, school dues, and college essentials—ensuring they have the resources needed to thrive. At the same time, ACT Win empowers women to rebuild their lives after incarceration with dignity and hope.

"Women returning from prison face significant barriers to reintegration, including housing insecurity, unemployment, trauma, family separation, and systemic discrimination. At the same time, youth affected by parental incarceration often struggle both academically and emotionally, increasing their risk of continuing the cycle."

ACT Win is rooted in a passion for restorative justice, youth advocacy, and holistic community healing. Our mission is to support individuals impacted by incarceration, poverty, or trauma by equipping them with the tools and support systems needed to build stable, productive lives.

"ACT Win's objective is to transform the lives of women reentering society after incarceration and students in Baltimore through a holistic and supportive approach, without discrimination based on nationality or beliefs."

Youth Engagement
ACT Win has partnered with REACH Partnership High School to support students through encouragement, mentorship, and essential donations. Through this partnership, ACT Win follows selected students from 11th to 12th grade, providing consistent guidance and mentorship during this critical transitional period.

In addition, ACT Win helps cover senior dues for students from families facing financial hardship. Priority is given to those who meet one of the following criteria:
-
Students whose mothers were formerly incarcerated and currently providing care
-
Students being raised by family members due to the incarceration of their mother
