Another Chance To Win, Inc
WHY OUR WORK MATTERS
Women rebuilding their lives after incarceration, domestic violence, homelessness, and other difficult circumstances often face significant barriers to stability. These may include housing instability, unemployment, financial hardship, family separation, trauma, and limited access to resources and opportunities.
Without meaningful support, these barriers can make it difficult for women to establish stable lives and provide the security their families need.
ACT Win believes that a woman deserves an opportunity to rebuild—not simply to survive.
Our goal is to help women move from instability toward safety, stability, confidence, independence, and self-sufficiency.
We also recognize that a woman's circumstances can affect her children and family. When families experience financial hardship or instability, young people may experience educational and emotional challenges of their own.
That is why ACT Win includes a supportive youth and student component within our broader mission.
By helping meet essential student needs, providing encouragement and educational support, and creating opportunities for stability, we can help strengthen families and support the next generation.
OUR APPROACH
ACT Win takes a woman-centered and family-conscious approach to service.
We meet women where they are and work to connect them with the support, resources, opportunities, and encouragement they need to move forward.
Our approach may include:
Support — Helping women identify and address immediate and ongoing needs.
Resources & Advocacy — Connecting women with resources and advocating for opportunities that can improve their circumstances.
Temporary Housing — Providing temporary housing opportunities that give women a safe and stable place to become established while they work toward permanent housing and greater self-sufficiency.
Our goal is to help each woman move forward so that the opportunity can eventually be extended to another woman in need.

WHO WE ARE
Another Chance To Win, Inc. (ACT Win) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Baltimore, Maryland, created to empower women as they rebuild their lives and move toward stability, independence, and a brighter future.
ACT Win's primary focus is supporting women transitioning from incarceration, women experiencing homelessness, women fleeing domestic violence, and women facing other significant barriers to stability and self-sufficiency. We provide support, resources, advocacy, temporary housing opportunities, and connections to services that help women overcome barriers, rebuild their lives, and move forward with dignity and purpose.
We believe that helping a woman rebuild her life can have a positive impact far beyond the individual. Family matters. When women have the opportunity to become stable, secure, and self-sufficient, their children and families can also have greater opportunities to grow and succeed.
For this reason, ACT Win also provides limited support to youth and students, particularly when financial hardship, family circumstances, or other barriers may interfere with their educational success. Through essential donations, resources, school-related assistance, and college essentials, ACT Win helps students remain focused on their education and future.
Our work begins with women, but our impact can extend to the family and the next generation.
OUR MISSION
Another Chance To Win, Inc. (ACT Win) empowers women to overcome barriers, rebuild their lives, and move toward stability and self-sufficiency by providing support, resources, advocacy, temporary housing opportunities, and pathways to a better future.
Because we believe family matters, ACT Win also provides support and resources to youth and students when their educational or essential needs are connected to family circumstances, financial hardship, or the challenges facing the women and families we serve.
Giving people the opportunity to move forward, thrive, and have Another Chance To Win.
OUR VISION
A society where women have meaningful opportunities to rebuild their lives, achieve stability and self-sufficiency, and create stronger futures for themselves and their families—and where young people have the support and opportunities they need to succeed.
